“Monmouth County at War: Rebels, Raiders, and Revolution” brings to life the gripping story of New Jersey’s bloodiest region during the fight for independence – when neighbors became enemies, loyalties were tested, and choosing a side could mean risking everything.

Featuring leading historians and rarely told stories of African American, Native American and Loyalist fighters, the documentary explores the battles, betrayals, smuggling networks and personal sacrifices that made Monmouth County one of the Revolution’s most fiercely contested areas.

From the brutal fighting at the Battle of Monmouth to the exploits of Colonel Tye’s Black Brigade, discover a Revolution that was fought not just on battlefields, but in the homes, fields and communities of ordinary people.
